I choose to not take sides
In the battle of the sexes
It sucks!
Why is there even a battle I ask?
When you have brothers and sisters
What about the fathers and mothers? Your daughters and your sons?
It doesn’t make sense
Trying to outdo the other we obsess
Who taught you humanity is less
In either of the sex
Sure some anatomy difference
But isn’t coexistence
A necessity for the continuance
Of the species?
Equal in importance
For society to advance
Differently abled, the difference
In temperament and ambiance
Calls for supportive coexistence
