These bones of mine, they talk
They tell the story of the life I walk
These bones when they creek, listen, they speak
These bones of mine have seen it all, they talk
The good, the bad, the ugly they can tell, to run or to walk
These bones of mine, they talk
These bones have felt it all, they talk
The pain, pleasure, hurt, joy, a path of life they walk
These bones of mine, they talk
These bones have given life, they talk
They have nurtured, taught ’em to talk and walk
These bones of mine, they talk
These bones have loved, they talk
They’ve lost at love, head high, chose to walk
These bones of mine they talk
These bones can teach, they talk
Those who will learn, will learn or walk
These bones of mine they talk
These bones have been there, done it, they talk
These bones have talked through life’s walk
These bones of mine they talk
These bones when they creek, listen, they speak
