In her majestic beauty
And the modesty of the green canopy
Albeit what’s left, of the few patches
Since she is losing her vegetative mane
Torrents of tears run down, the surface crevices
Where she hides and cries
At the onset of premature menopause
And, she’s moody from changing climatic hormones
Stripped of her mojo, she barely has fertile soils
She is dry, she no longer produces
Experiencing hot flushes
From global warming, she fries
The green house gases, causing ozone porosis
Mother nature hides, and cries
From the painful symptoms
Of global warming and climate change
