HIGHWAY TO HISTORY

Gone are the days when my bossom
Stood upright saluting the heavens
Now gravity toys with the flattened hills

Born are the days of beauty in the plateau
The beauty of nurturing life in colostrum sauté
In a gravity wok, sourced fresh from my nippled Eden

A seed born of a woman, a woman
I bring forth seeds in my children
And this noble heritage will, carry on

My bossom defies gravity no more
This bossom has sustained life & much more
These once were supple hills, not anymore

They are flattened paths that chart a heritage
These plateaus are their highway to history
They are my children’s route to their lineage
