When you pour out
Your heart
And it’s nothing but hurt

When you lay it all bare
What is on your mind
And it’s nothing but torment

What do I say
That is meaningful?
I barely know who you are
And I want to reach out

What do I say?
I want to mean what I say
But it’s just the other day
That we met

What do I say?
Our paths, only just, crossed
On the webs of this net
Through mutual friends

What do I say?
When the friends are friends
Of other friends, that met on the net
Through other mutual friends

What do I say?
When we are yet to talk
We are yet, each other, to stalk
We only just met

What do I say?
When you asked to be friends
Then did a runner, disappeared
You only appear when you’re hurt

What do I say?
We barely bonded
When you disappeared
If I’m honest,
I know not, how to feel about it

What do I say?
We have been friends for a while
I’m always on your timeline
But I barely see you on mine

What do I say?
I got tired of the one sided affair
And I decided I was done
A new venture you launched
Now, I can’t get you off my back

What do I say
When I would rather not
Say anything if I don’t mean it
When I like to be real

Maybe I need not say
Anything real, if at all
I could use emojis, could I not?
They are better than knot,
Wouldn’t you say?

Myabe if I say
Anything at all
I need not mean it, don’t you think?
This world is unreal, is it not?

What I say
Maybe no one cares at all
They are just but webs in the net
That people connect, are they not?

Then maybe 
Say nothing at all
It’s a complex world wide web, is it not?

Maybe
Just surf the net
In the webbed connections
And expect not to much, don’t you think?

Maybe
It’s better to hurt not too much, is it not?
It’s better to say not too much, is it not?
Then people would hurt less, don’t you think?

Maybe
If they didn’t hurt
Then there would be less torment
And no need to care too much, don’t you think?

Meaningful, webbed nets of connection
Are a bit too dear, it seems
Genuine webs in the net
Too much to expect,
Wouldn’t you say?
